Clinical Prevention & Population Health for Improving Health

"The implementation of clinical prevention and population health activities is central to achieving the national goal of improving the health status of the population of the United States"

("AACN", 2011, p. 24). To meet this essential it is critical as Advanced

Practice Nurses we promote prevention for our patients and teach health promotion. Here you will see examples of how this essential has been mastered, throughout my MSN educational career. Being an advocate to improve the quality of life of patients should be the goal of each person of the healthcare team and the top priority of nurses.
